Privacy policy

Wanbishi Archives Co. Ltd., (henceforth "our company") considers it our crucial responsibility to fully recognize the need for protection of personal information and to promote the proper handling of such information in order to improve the reliability of our business activities (total information management and insurance service).

  1. Compliance with law
    Our company complies with the laws, regulations, national guidelines, other standards, and this policy in the handling of personal information.
  2. Acquisition of personal information
    Our company obtains personal information through lawful and fair means to the extent necessary for business operations.
  3. Purposes of use of personal information
    Our company defines the purposes of use of personal information to the extent necessary to conduct business activities. We use such information only to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use and will not use such information beyond the extent permitted. We also take actions to prevent unauthorized access to personal information. Our company discloses the specific purposes of use of personal information for each business activity.
  4. Safety management of personal information
    Our company shall implement the necessary and appropriate measures to ensure the prevention of leaks of, loss of, or damage to the personal information in our possession by conducting any safe management of personal information based on the current level of technologies, which shall be continuously improving. Our company shall also implement the necessary and appropriate measures to ensure the accuracy and relevancy required for achievement of the purposes of use.
  5. Provision of personal information to third parties
    Our company does not provide personal information to any third parties without express prior consent, except in the following cases:
    (1) The use of personal information may be entrusted to third parties to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use. In this case, our company selects these third parties by verifying the implementation of a sufficient security level for handling personal information and supervises such third parties exercise the required appropriate operations through contracts.
    (2) Personal information may be disclosed to third parties if it is required in order to protect a person's life, health, or property.
    (3)In other cases, personal information may be disclosed where required by law.
  6. Requests and questions for our company
    Our company responds to requests for the notification of the use, disclosure, correction, deletion, or stoppage of use or the provision of personal information within a reasonable period of time and within the appropriate range after confirming the identity of the person making the request. Our company also responds to complaints and requests for support in good faith.
  7. Continuous improvement
    Our company defines the compliance plan for private information protection (private information protection management system) based on JIS standards (JIS Q 15001:2006). Our company will implement the plan and continue to improve our policies.
